Today, the Stop Online Piracy Act would have gone to a vote had the House not delayed it for retooling in the face of White House opposition. Still, many sites have proceeded to “blackout” today as planned, and even though my site is fairly useless, I stand in solidarity with my internet brethren. Therefore, I will not be posting anything to this site, my Facebook or my Twitter for the rest of the day.
Find your representative or senator here: http://www.congressmerge.com/onlinedb/
Contact them and tell them how you feel about SOPA and PIPA (the similar PROTECT-IP Act). The internet depends on you.
And if I may ask one last thing, please forgive the cliché, but our song of the day is Public Enemy’s “Fight the Power.”
